Where tradition is born
In 1983, Gianni Carbone founded Focacceria Manuelina, a traditional fast food restaurant that served as an alternative to the sandwich shops that were popular in the 1980s. Quick and easy recipes that, even today, rediscover the classic flavors of Ligurian tradition.
For over thirty years, the Focacceria di Recco has welcomed thousands of cheese focaccia lovers eager to taste it in its authentic recipe, as our great-grandmother Manuelina used to prepare it, “probably the most addictive dish in the world” (Fred Plotkin).
