Focaccia di Recco col formaggio has finally obtained the PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) mark, the first European certification ever awarded to a bakery product. The mark certifies that this product is prepared only in Recco and a few neighboring municipalities using specific raw materials and production procedures. A truly prestigious milestone that our beloved great-grandmother Manuelina would be proud of!
